Обязанности:

• Overall control and management of the overall IT system, Group's data centers activities and IT team;
• Administration, analysis and optimization of an IT department structure;
• Provide leadership in the development of IT policies and operational procedures that affect the reliability of the IT infrastructure;
• Continuous Improvement: always seeking ways to streamline, automate, and simplify processes;
• Drive simplification and automation to evolve processes, services, and solutions, to increase agility and efficiencies and lower costs;
• Selection, deployment and administration of cloud tools needed to day-to-day company's operations (including mail, project management, wiki, helpdesk and other tools);
• Suggestion and implementation of changes in the IT department structure to make it suitable for businesses expansion including launch of several data centers in different regions (USA, Nordic countries);
• Implement general IT controls in cooperation with director of controls and external advisors (KPMG);
• Development and implementation of GDA group IT strategy, including:
  • Determination and implementation of monitoring and control over key operational metrics of GDA group activities;
  • Development of key criteria to review and selection of providers of key services (mining pools, custody services, equipment monitoring system, etc.), and further control over their performance;
  • Development of unified approaches of launching, monitoring and management of GDA's data centers operations that affect the reliability of the IT infrastructure;
  • In cooperation with CTO proposals on approach for constant review and analysis of solutions for improvement of mining equipment efficiency (firmware, cooling systems, containers, etc.);
  • Development and implementation of best IT Security practices;
  • Development and implementation of data center uptime monitoring approach and strategy for growing overall data centers performance in terms of hashrate generation;
  • Support PDP, audit and compliance activities, including SOC 2 and SOX404 audits;
  • In cooperation with the IT security manager implementation of key security measures.
• Travel internationally as needed (including Kazakhstan, USA, Sweden and other data centers locations).

Требования:

• 4+ years experience of work on the position of IT director and/or CTO of large data center service provider or IT company operating large number of HPC machines distributed among several data centers;
• Technical Degree(s) in computer science, engineering or a related field;
• Experience of managing teams of 10+ people;
• Deep technical, written, analytical and verbal skills;
• Experience of working with IT monitoring, BI and visualization tools for real-time IT infrastructure performance reporting;
• Experience of working with API;
• Experience in investigation of IT security incidents, external and internal fraud;
• Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, OSI model), operating system fundamentals (Windows, UNIX, mainframe), security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.) and application programming/scripting languages (Python, C, Java, Perl, Shell and/or bash shell scripting);
• Scripting languages knowledge as a plus;
• Knowledge of blockchain technology as a plus;
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIPT, CIPM, CRISC or other relevant certification desired Fluent English language.
